Manchester is one of the most vibrant cities in the country, with Manchester and Salford having a large and dynamic student population. Storm FM aims to bridge the gap between students and the local population, illustrating to all the true diversity of cultures in the local community.
The eventual aim of Storm FM is to gain a full time broadcasting license. This will act as a showcase for local talent, promoting Manchester, provide a supportive and entertaining service to the local communities, and give valuable real life experience to local students of not only radio production, but also engineering, sales, promotion and finance.
