The Almost Breakfast Show

Storm FM Sunday 8am - 10am

"The steaming coffee and hot buttered crumpet of morning music and toasted chat..."

The Almost Breakfast Show, waking Manchester to a morning eucharist of their own.

With no previous radio history, the Almost Breakfast Show comes to Storm listeners with a fresh vivacity that is hard to refuse. Carefully tuned to that Sunday morning mood, one of sore eyes and a sorer head, a score of melodies, chat and humour soothes those wounds of the night before.

In a time where the airwaves are full of the bland and the banal, the Almost Breakfast show speaks exclusively to people never spoken to before, reads books never read from before, recites poetry without rhyme, brings you the first global breakfast and keeps the listener constantly updated with news few others would hear.

There's music from Finley Quaye, Jeff Buckley, Art Blakey, Lenoard Cohen, The Velvet Underground and many more besides. So with a healthy spoonful of honey on our toast and a steaming mug of comment and wit, few will be those who sleep late through till the afternoon.
